All-Bran* Energy Balls
This nutritious, irresistible snack is made with dates and nuts, and the addition of All-Bran Buds* cereal. Two energy balls make a great snack any time of the day.
Ingredients
- 75 mL or 1/3 cup roasted skinless hazelnuts
- 75 mL or 1/3 cup roasted skinless almonds
- 500 mL or 2 cups pitted dates
- 100 mL or 7 tbsp almond butter
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 75 mL or 1/3 cup goji berries
- 150 mL or 2/3 cup All Bran Buds* cereal
- 150 mL or 2/3 cup grated coconut
Directions
1. In a food processor, pulse hazelnuts and almonds until finely ground; transfer to bowl and set aside.
2. Add dates, almond butter and cayenne pepper to the food processor; mix until puréed. Set aside.
3. In a bowl, combine the nut mixture, date purée, goji berries and cereal; mix until smooth. Shape mixture into 1 ½-inch balls and roll in coconut. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or for up to 10 days.

TIP: Dried blueberries or cranberries can be substituted for dried goji berries if desired.
